Frequently Asked Questions
| What happens if it rains? If you have booked the open carriage (black) and it rains it may be possible to change it for the enclosed carriage (gold), subject to availability. This must be arranged the day before the day of the event. |
| What does the footperson do? The footperson will help the driver with the horses, opening carriage doors, rolling out the red carpet, and assisting the occupants in and out of the carriage. |
| What if I want something different to the packages you have? If you are considering something different please call and discuss your needs and we will do our best to provide what you are after. |
| How long does it take to travel 5km? It takes approx. 25 minutes to travel 5km, while 10km will take approx. 75 minutes (1 hr 15 min). |
| Can you travel on all roads? We can travel on all roads except for motorways and freeways. |
| Can I view the carriage prior to making a booking? Yes, we welcome you to view the carriage, however, you will need to arrange an appointment in advance. |
| When does time start and end? 'Your time' will start at the agreed pick-up time and will end with the carriage being released from service by you. 'Our time' includes everything prior to pick-up, and after release. This includes preparation of horses and carriage, floating horses and transportation of carriage to the venue, seting up and packing up on-site, and our return trip from the venue. |
